The Sensational She-Hulk

Postlude

Oh shit oh fuck she found me

That’s all for the show. I don’t really have anything to say in general. Jen was well written. There wasn’t a boring character that had too much screen time. The action was low but she’s not a fighter. Plus with characters like Wong and Murdock, I got my fill. The CGI could be better but that’s not something I’m nitpicky for. I think the reason people may find her ugly is because Bruce’s and Emil’s Hulk always looked rough. They are trying to give Jen’s Hulk smooth skin. The same thing for Todd, he looked smooth. It’s fucking disgusting. I don’t know why they choose that but that’s the main difference I find between the four of them. Maybe it’s also just bad quality on Jen because she has the most screen time and those poor artists were overworked but she is smoother than her cousin. Um, music choices were great. I loved their theme for Daredevil, I kind of hope that returns in Born Again.

Lastly, the best thing this show did besides characters was world building. Not a crazy amount but more than every other Phase 4 show combined. Literally. Clarifying the Sokovia Accords, having a sleuth of different characters show up, referencing a movie event, and even just the existence of an Asgardian elf who is the daughter of a diplomat does leagues of world building you could not hope to piece together from the pebbles of Falcon and the Winter Soldier (the one show that should be based on world building). It was so easy too, they just brought in people connected to people with specific relationships. That’s all you need to do goddamnit.

So go watch the show if you care about any of the stuff I just said in the last two paragraphs. Go. Go right now. No go rewatch it. Stop everything. You spent twenty minutes reading this? That’s a whole She-Hulk episode missed. Why are you still reading? I’m not even paid to say this. It’s not even top tier. She is just holding my family hostage. Please go watch the damn show. She who? SHE HULK!
