Finzione, the Island of Clowns
Nighttime on Finzione Island
“OPA! Barbarbarbarbar, we found each other Apoo,” Heyritten exclaimed to the monkey.
“Finally, what took you all day?”
“I finally found a harem in the sky falls. Women from the sky are cooperative, you know,” Heyritten pointed to a group of women who giggled at Apoo.
“I don’t care. Check it out, I’m caught in a Davy Back Fight. If you were here earlier, you could have wiped them out before it started.”
“Hmm, but it’s you being a captain in the fight? I am my own captain, I’m not joining you.”
“I was waiting for you to be my last pick.”
“Wrong, you were supposed to be my subordinate when we met. You didn’t name me right? It would be bad if the other captain didn’t approve of me.”
“That’s not a rule!”
“Okay. Well you can have my brother for the Fight. He’ll be unbeatable. You’ll meet him in the morning. Then you’ll join my crew.”
“Check it out, a pirate’s life works out for me.”
“Now Apoo, I’ve got to show you a one man act, ‘How to Become a Treasure Man’.”
…morning, Finzione
The town of Finzione is one of tents, small and big tops, many people with smiling faces whether it be painted or masked. People played tricks with each other, bounced off the mushroomy ground, and sang in unison.
Perona floated through, “this is so wholesome, I hate it!!”
“Gyahahahahaha, I remember this town! We came here after stealing from Big Mom!”
Alvida rolled her eyes, “another Roger tall tale?”
Galdino asked, “is this where you get your clown getup?”

The Roger Pirates enter the town. Roger and Gaban happily meet some kids. Rayleigh and Crocus talk to some of the elders. Shanks watches Buggy’s clown act with some kids. They have a campfire party. Then everyone is alseep. A sea beast comes out from shore. Buggy is awoken first in shock. Shanks awakes next. Shanks seems unable to awake Roger. The snake like beast uses its body to slash Buggy but this has no effect. The beast is perturbed while Buggy teases him. The beast tries to cut through the rest of the village with its body. Several buildings are cut in half. Shanks uses Buggy again to block a building. The beast finally faces the two who stare fiercely (Shanks) and mockingly (Buggy) back and so he returns to see. The villagers celebrate by throwing Buggy in the air. Roger has his face painted by the now clown-faced villagers. Roger’s crew leaves happily.
\\Flashback over//
Daz (mouth shut), Perona, Alvida, Galdino, Cabaji, Mohji in a line thumbs down shouted, “THAT DID NOT HAPPEN!” much to Buggy’s chagrin.
“It so very much did happen!”
“…wait I didn’t say that,” Buggy said turning around.
“its the boss,” a civilian pointed out.
“Who but me indeed,” Habdurra said landing in the middle of the street. He was in hybrid form as always now with the label [Finzione Town Boss]. “Another connection between us, the town you save, I now rule over as a pirate boss.”
“Stop acting like we’re connected, I don’t even remember your name!” Buggy turned to an old lady. “Hey, grandma, remember me?”
“No~”
Buggy completely dissembled onto the ground. Some villagers laughed out loud at this. Buggy reformed and told the lady, “hey visit the doctor, okay? You might’ve lost your eyesight.”
Richie sniffed at a child who honked his nose. Then he tried to eat the kid but Buggy got in the way and got chomped instead. Then Richie disgustingly spit him out.
A guy pointed out, “yo, you were the chop chop man on Rogers crew. What was your name again?”
“Uh Buggy. Lord Buggy.”
“Lord Buggy,” they cheered.
Habdurra growled, “follow me already, jeez. I’ll take you to the Biggest Top.”
“I thought that’d be you,” Alvida muttered
“Hey Galdino, put up my flag, I actually really like this place. An Emperor should have more territory.”
“Ugh fine, Wax Wax Tributary,” and Galdino made a non flowing flag that overshadowed the Nine Clawed Pirates flag.
“Lord Buggy Lord Buggy,” a group of kids carried a huge pie toward him. He was pleased, “ah a gift?”. Then they smashed it on his face and ran away snickering. Alvida and Galdino burst into laughing while Daz held up an L. “Hey watch it, you three!”
Crocodile tugged at his neck, face full of sweat, “this must be a summertime island. The temperature is off the charts.” Then he noticed Mihawk’s solemn face. “Hey, it’s not that hot.”
“It’s not the heat but the game that irks me.”
“Really? Have you been in a Davy Back Fight? They’re fun.” Mihawk slowly shook his head. “Hawkeye, you’re really a lonely guy…”
“Why do you go with it? After sneaking out to steal the treasure on your own.”
“Because I can still steal the treasure and hold a favor over Buggy. Why did you tell him where I went?”
“To hold a favor over Buggy.”
Caesar then asked, “hey couldn’t you free my legs? I’ll totally fight on your side now.”
Croc answered, “its best you not try to disappear on us like you did your own actual allies like yesterday.”
“I’m a logia! Let me be free!”
“Sure, unshackle him,” Buggy said, “nobody’s allowed to be unhappy here!”
They arrived at the Biggest Top which was a huge red tent. Inside, there was already a huge crowd in the stands. Some waved the old Beast Pirate flags and others the New Buggy flag. In the crowd, Heyrittin was with some of the slaves and monks, “barbarbarbar, this town is great. I love the masquerade culture! I wonder if I could show them my bit about the Spectre de Soiree.”
Also there was Morgans and Wapol, “Big News! Buggy has just entered the room with his crew. I guess he just recently recruited the mad scientist Caesar Clown!”
In one corner, the number Hatcha was holding a drink in one hand and Vivi in the other. She thought, oh no, Crocodile is here! This is the weirdest adventure!
Apoo was sitting on a throne as Queen played music from their corner. Habdurra joined their group. Buggy huddled up with his crew, “alright, everyone, we practiced all night so we better win the first round. Plus we got the right crowd.”
Crocodile looked over and noticed Heyrettin. Mihawk said, “you see him too. The lurking legend, a rival to Roger, Shiki, and Xebec.”
“Also rumored to have the last Lode Poneglygh, something he hassled off of Gaban I heard.”
“Holy shit!” Alvida exclaimed surprising Croc and Mihawk. Then she continued, “it’s Urouge from the Worst Generation! I guess he joined Apoo now.”
“Good for him. I thought he retired,” Galdino said.
“He’s plenty strong, we could steal him in the game,” Cabaji said.
On the other side, Urouge was visibly displeased, “I have to do that kind of dance move?”
“And you need to show funky spirit! Do you wanna lose, ya loser?” Queen asked.
“You’ve lost a lot more than me…”
Apoo sighed, “just stand in the back and hopefully the audience won’t notice you.
Perona then pointed out, “look at that idiot over there,” making Mihawk and Croc sweat. “He’s got so many masks on him. Maybe’s he’s your biggest fan, Captain.”
“Hmm, I don’t remember him from here.”
“Wait,” Croc almost let out but Buggy shot faster than he could be caught. Buggy flew into Heyritten, “hey, do I know you from some where?”
“Me? No, I’m not fated to meet anyone twice. I get followed around by a kraken that eats everyone.”
“That’s no right to be sad! Sounds like you just need to change your mask.” Heyritten did. “Good job.”
Heyritten replied, “good luck Buggy, we would like to laugh today.”
