Gossip Girl: the Yakirisu Saga

Hazel is extrasocial. They are only kind of on the internet (from what I see) and only connected to Yaki in a real life manner. Mary and Hazel dated from 2017 to 2021 but lived together from 2020 to 2022. By the way, Mary was born in 2000 but I don’t know how old Hazel is. Anyways, super weirdly, they have different memories of their time together during COVID leading me to believe one of them hopped multiverses.

You see, they lived in this small home and both were gamer girls but Mary was the one with online content. During COVID she retired from making any content, probably due to a creative block from quarantine. In this home, they had a few pets; two dogs Pinto and Momo and a cat named Gil. Momo was a bit feisty and Gil was an avoidant cat, always finding the best hiding places. Pinto was there first though and perhaps was Mary’s personal pet before they moved in together. Momo was something Hazel got for herself. Then there’s economy of this home. Well, Hazel had a job after quarantine was canceled by conservatives meanwhile Mary received the glorious Trump Bucks whenever they were handed out. Mary also received students loans as she was in college.

That seems to be the only things they agreed upon in their perspectives. Here’s what they they feel about each other; neither one was pulling weight in the relationship. Mary says Hazel didn’t take care of the pets and she had to domesticate Momo. She never kept an eye out for the hidey Gil, rather gaming in her free time, and almost never talking to Mary. For Hazel, she says Mary could not even train Momo so she decided to do so and claimed Mary would throw Gil around or lock the pussy behind doors and such. Mary was also verbally abusive toward her by shouting, being assertive, and just saying hateful things.

Ahhhhhh, what the hell? How did you both share one sided relationships? What the fuck happened in the house? I do think maybe Gil was being a silly cat, hid in the bathroom or somewhere and accidentally got locked by Mary, I believe her on that. Shit happens. If she deliberately stuffed Gil in the refrigerator or something, then I could believe Hazel there but she has no examples of this.

One sad thing is the car. Hazel has a car. From her perspective, she complained about how Mary needed to get driven a bunch all of the time. Mary said Hazel would only talk to her in the car and whenever they were at home Hazel was basically mute. That’s so fucking sad.

Why are they even living together? Idk, a brownie like me wouldn’t be able to marry ANYONE at 20. That’s the thing though, Mary was ready. According to her universe, Hazel always talked about marriage. I will say, if you’re engaged or about to be, it’s probably good to test the waters of living together before you end up in a stupid divorce. I’m Catholic so I do believe marriage is sacred but even ignoring religion, I hate that there’s a lazy attitude around marriage in some cultures when you could do all of that without a government recognized union. But Hazel must’ve switched universes as she said she doesn’t know why Mary pushed them to living together since she didn’t want to get married yet. WHAT THE FUCK??? WHY DID YOU AGREE THEN??A house together is crazy, even if they live in Michigan. Idk anything about that state actually. But they like mortgaged the house, under Mary’s name, this is a near permanent decision. If it was just an apartment, it’s easy to leave and return home but a whole house is crazy.

The dogs bruh the fucking dogs. They didn’t like each other or at least specifically, Momo liked bullying Pinto. Bro thought he was top g. Whether or not Hazel or Mary trained Momo, they continued to bully Pinto for MONTHS! That’s crazy beef. It seems they broke up after returning Momo to the shelter or whatever but they continued to live together. Hazel would simply sleep on the couch. Horrible situation.

We’ll see more evidence of this later, but I do believe Hazel in that Mary is an assertive person. She is confrontational as shit. She is an Aries but that an explanation rather than an excuse. If you have Aries friends, are they direct or naw? All the ones I know are and this will fit in with the rest of Mary’s personality as we will see.

But Mary’s bad enough that she’s not self aware. That’s a big reason the exposes would have been released anyways. She doesn’t, in the moment, understand how badly she might be confronting another person especially since she seems to surround herself with awfully shy people. They will be extra sensitive to even just getting asked a direct question to the point they might recall you were shouting at them or being aggressive. WE WILL SEE MORE OF THIS!

So I believe Mary could’ve been unknowingly abusive to Hazel about their feelings in the relationship and a specific event. Enough of that shouting may have pushed Hazel to suicide using a simply ingestion and this is where Chat gets furious. They hated to see Hazel could’ve been pushed to suicide by Mary and many memes/reactions would accuse her of being a deliberate abuser because of this. The suicide event is not something Mary remembers which does sound like saying ‘nuh uh’ but the event should be memorable.

They live only with each other. When Hazel ingested sodium nitrate, she would’ve suffered some nausea and headaches. She could’ve thrown up or been completely knocked out.

So in universe A, Mary would have to find her unconscious to bring her to the hospital since she should be home. If she was out of town, that’s a crazy time to do a suicide. Well actually, suicide is crazy regardless. But IF she was out of town, Hazel would then expect that maybe she don’t wanna die die so she called the ambulance ahead of time and then ingested le chemical. Regardless, she ends up in the hospital for one night in which (she admits) the hospital did not find the chemical in her body. They probably weren’t looking for the specific thing but they would’ve found anything strange anyways. It could also be that Hazel didn’t take a good dosage but still felt all the abdominal pain that comes with the chemical and then called the ambulance. Regardless, Mary would’ve had to pick her up from the hospital unless for some reason the hospital lets patients take Ubers or even decided to deliver them home themselves. Hazel says she told Mary it was just a headache which is a different thing to decipher. Now the lie was out of her shyness, sure. If Mary was aware Hazel suffered any pain yesterday or suffered unconsciousness, then a headache is an unbelievable lie I think. I hope. I would be suspicious of it and at least remember it. If Mary wasn’t present for anything, then it might be ignorable, even forgettable. But Mary simply doesn’t remember Hazel going to the hospital at all!

Um there’s the weird detail where Mary claims Hazel took money for Pinto’s recovery from the GoFundMe for the rent but that’s kind of whatever. But after that, Mary comes back and finds a shit show. And I hate Chat for this bit. Actually, a specific tweeter.

Why would she lie like that? What I mean is the only reason anyone sees the image is because in Mary’s doc, she claims this is how Hazel left the bathroom after a few months of Mary being gone. Evidentially, this has nothing to do with Mary’s cleanliness. Mary showed another pic of it after she cleaned it. After that tweet was made, because Chat never read Yaki’s doc, they only blamed Yaki for Lack of Hygiene. I just hate it when people are wrong and had to clear that here.

I don’t remember this correctly (too lazy to double check) but I think there was a moment where Hazel said she felt like a maid cause Mary always told her to clean. But Mary double down on how much gaming Hazel does because of how dirty she left the place so she has to clean. And she says she does ask Hazel to help, especially after her return, but Hazel doesn’t. So she just asks Hazel to leave and then perhaps accidentally/purposefully locked the door behind her. But excluding that last part, if not helping clean, get out of the way?

Let’s understand Hazel a bit more psychologically. The human body can be divided into physical, mental and spiritual layers. The physical are things your body naturally knows from birth, mental are things your body learns that are shown by consciousness or subconsciousness, and spiritual being the personality part that is you. As a kid, you know how to breath, shit, and scream. Your parents should then teach you hygiene and as you grow older, even actual decisions such as brushing your teeth or bathing can become subconscious. You could let your body do it while only concentrating on how to bag your crush. That would be a synchronization of all three layers. But stressors like anxiety and depression (which Hazel would be experiencing due to losing the relationship with Mary and Mary’s removal of presence) would just cause desynching to the point where your body just freezes. It will not commit to auto mental plans such as cleaning the living room or bathroom. Your mentality may even decide to not gain new memories. Then the source of stress returns causing you to completely collapse. Hazel probably didn’t even argue. She just stood there frozen with Mary directing her to clean while Mary’s new boyfriend is right there. Whether or not she was locked out, she was for sure locked out of acting. Her physical body kept breathing (I mean it even survived the suicide, this was easy), but her brain shut off, and her soul was excorpo.

Okay forget about that, she finally decides to ditch the house on June 12th, with Gil for some reason. This sucks for Mary as she didn’t make enough to pay the house for herself so she invites Ultima. At the end of her doc, Hazel does admit that due to the badness of the relationship, she might’ve had some memory loss so she doesn’t remember any clear details.

I kind of feel bad for both of them. It seems they wasted each other’s time but Chat spent the day consoling Hazel over the suicide and making shittub jokes about Mary. Seemingly Hazel should be doing better now. The only thing I can say about her is that she’s real shy. For Mary, we learned she’s confrontational, shouty, self unaware, and intimidating. So intimidating, Hazel could only talk to her in the car when she didn’t have to look directly at her. Big sadge. Sucks there isn’t a possible third perspective between this relationship. Even if Mary is trying to flip the blame on Hazel, there isn’t too much gain in her lying as everyone already hated her. There is a lesson to be learned from each angle of Yaki although I don’t know if Yaki learned them. For us here, we can learn that you gotta just talk more in a relationship about everything and super honestly. And leave room to listen. It would seem less one-sided that way if they knew each other’s feelings, even if it still doesn’t work out. Hazel would be the second domino to
