Gossip Girl: the Yakirisu Saga

Now let’s cut the red veil, I ain’t writing this nor did I do my timeline because of these side characters so far. That shit sucks and the Hazel relationship is a tragedy but these are random dudes. If it was just this, it wouldn’t be that much news. Hell, Ratbarf, Mahado, Tommie, and Nathan all wrote their pieces to kind of just warn others about her negative personality traits. They didn’t really accuse her of social crimes. Also they have an accidental bias as each of them are effectively angels in their stories and the only bad actor is Yaki. That doesn’t look bad on them but it makes Yaki look unreasonably evil if it wasn’t slight stuff. No, this whole thing was inspired by the contradicting stories of Aruuu’s memory and Yaki’s screenshots. A good old hard work vs talent argument. While Hazel may have genuine memory failure because of trauma, Aruuu seemed to be either misleading, assuming, fibbing, and exaggerating with parts of her documents and that is all to say I still don’t think she is outright lying. On her doc, the first doc, Ultima’s story takes up just a page so for her to outright lie about her own history with Yaki for the next few pages would be crazy crazy application of Jutsu No.3 Distraction. With everyone showing concern for Ultima and even on top of that Aruuu, they wouldn’t double check stuff on Yaki’s document.

And it’s funny, I only read from Aruuu and Yaki first. At that point, I was unconcerned with Ultima because he had already left the situation and gains nothing from these exposes. So this is not his doing. Why would Aruuu do this? Then I realized they both barely talked about “Gamescage” Fadel even though he is present in both docs. I thought that instead of Yaki, it was Fadel being the master manipulator of the situation. That’s when I read his thing and….it seemed he was too stupid to orchestrate the drama. Like just pure stupidity rubbing off him. But that’s why I started the timeline and then started reading the other exposes in order to find the master manipulator, the final boss of this drama. There had to be some gain in doing all of this. Someone to gain it. None this far but this is it, let’s dive into Act 2 of the Yakirisu Saga and let’s get to the worst crime committed by a Lithuanian Michigander!

Fadel Arc

So we first have “Gamescage” Fadel, a Palestinian descendent living in Canada, supposedly Montreal. He’s 26 years old and if he wasn’t born on Pina Colada Day, he would still be a Cancer with the face he makes in photos. He has stopped following Muhammed. He joined Youtube in 2015 and has since accrued a near 40k subscribers. His twitch is at the same following leading me to believe he has 1 fanbase and they just follow both platforms. I’ve actually never seen that before, usually the one the creators invests more time in the most followed. Besides that, he is a big Dragon Ball fan and, like everyone else in this Part of the story, a Sonic fan.

Then we have “Deputy” Aruuu, a Croat-Crimean-Turkish descendent living in the worst Midwestern state of Ohio. She’s 26 and a Sagittarius. She still follows Muhammed. She joined Youtube in 2011 and in her long career, has played many games and collaborated with quite a few creators. She started streaming in 2016 and only recently joined the Vtuber Society over the last year. Her power level is strongly carried by her tik tok following.

Our last protag is then “Yakirisu” Mary, a Lithuanian descendent living in Midchigan- sorry, Michigan. She is 22 before April of this year, an Aries. She joined YouTube and Twitch in 2019 but starter her hiatus when Covid came around. She loves Garchomp, the land shark Pokemon, and Sonic.

So we got beef between these two girls who have Turkish and Lithuanian blood. Historically accurate. They live in Ohio and Michigan, two states that have actually gone to war after the American colonies united. This was known as the Toledo War of 1835-1836, where they fought over a border town for clear cut borders. Ohio would win Toledo and then the ‘Upper Peninsula’ was given to the Territory of Michigan by the Federal Government. Yeah, that’s why they own that little tail next to Wisconsin. Michigan only became a state after that war. A generation later, the universities of Ohio State and Michigan State would begin a football rivalry that has survived to the modern day. The two states actually hate each other but for Aruuu and Yaki, that hatred would not yet come. (“wow you really think these two hate each other for historical ties?”, shut up I’m cooking)

When Yaki came back to streaming at the top of 2022, she must’ve then latched onto Fadel to boost her own community. Everyone knows collabs improve the volume of viewers for both parties. It’s actually a requirment for at least one collab in order for a streamer to get big, that or some bigger streamer reacts to your content. From both Yaki’s and Fadel’s perspective, this is where it seemed their relationship begun. Fadel was big and she needed someone to latch onto to grow. Don’t forget, she already did have fans from when she streamed previously, she’s fairly connected on Twitter already, and in fact her fans pushed her to return to Twitch in the first place. So we are at the point where she is apart of “Fadelistan”.

So let’s get a bit abstract and talk about ‘net’ societies. In real life, any group of people can start their own thing but for the United Nations to recognize them as a state/country, they would probably need a government, military, economy, permanent location, perhaps religion, and a unique reason to exist. I say UN because before Pax Britannica (a period of time from 1815 to 1914), societies existed anywhere they wanted and only their biggest neighbor could recognize them as a country. Like there was always people on the Japanese islands but their nearest civilization, China, didn’t recognize any state there until 111 AD. If a people don’t get recognized by a powerful civilization, they will be treated as barbarians and have no claim to their territory or anything else that makes a country. That’s how the Anglo tribe stole land from land from the Creek and other tribes in the US, they simply never recognized them. That’s just human nature. But on the Internet, it doesn’t even matter if a real life country recognizes a group of people, they will never be given an official status because they aren’t tangible. They can’t trade, attack, or have claim with your discord. Those of us on here though are happy to recognize each other; all of the fandoms, fanbases, social media hubs, and more personal forums.

With the way Fadel and Aruuu talk about Yaki’s connection to Jacob (which we’ll get to in a second), I feel like they have recognized a net-society for Jacob which implies Fadel has his own. But net-societies are functional parasocial. ‘Para’ meaning other, as in it does not exist. It is a culture that has no official status and only is recognized in your head. You can be member of many of them at once, even if they oppose each other, and the very organization is not even fluid, it’s gaseous. There is no form as people can try to trump each other easier than in real life. Some parasocials, like subreddits or discord, do have a monarch or democracy but it’s still just a conceptual babysitting thing. They have no impact if you log off. Some paracosials can have relationships and conflicts (the 4chan-Tumblr War) but you have to believe the hype of how famous and thusly how powerful the people in the group are.

I think sociologically academics will recognize these online parasocities more and more. It’s not a new idea from me, I recently watched a video about the subject. So let’s do world building for Fadelistan. Fadel, of course, would be the sultan/shah/king/kral of the ‘country’ with close friends like Johnny Lockson being some sort of high up baron. Then there’s other creators who plead some fealty or alliance to him, namely 2022 Yaki. But Yaki would be a vassal as we know she has her own community and server, Yakigorod. Lastly there’s the fans that are just regular civilians in this society. They defend the creator, make art work, and practice whatever culture Fadel fosters on his streams or court.

So Yaki has this alliance treaty with Fadel but to him, she’s an invasive vassal. She’s always asking for a visitation from her lord and always trying to inject herself in court hearings. To Yaki, he is a selfish lord. The man always asks her to visit but never does in return. She’s asked the administrators to promote her city in court but this felt justified.

But besides that, they seemed to have no problems being allied for now. Then comes Emerome, another streamer who started Youtube back in 2012. Lowkey unimportant but she seemed to have ‘dated’ Fadel for a bit in 2022. It is unknown what this dating means outside of her showing up in his court. They could just be independent sovereign allies, I don’t think she’s apart of his country. But Yaki kept track when this potential affair started. It doesn’t seem to go too far.

For Aruuu and Fadel, they have known each other since at least 2020 but only recently got more acquainted. That is when they started their situationship in Sept of 2022. The contract of relations between Fadel and Aruuu were to exclusively flirt with each other. That sounds rather easy to do. I mean rn, I’m only informally flirting with one person so I can’t imagine being focused on anyone else. Now I don’t consider this to be dating, they weren’t calling each other boyfriend/girlfriend. It was unofficial and that’s what makes it a situationship. To cheat would just cheat with anyone else. I don’t know if I would get mad at that, as much as Aruuu did but I would also never be in this position.

At some point, Yaki learned of the relation and confessed to her lord that she’ll have to break certain news to Aruuu since they know of each other (probably from Vtuber Society). News of Emerome. Baron Johnny warned this would break the stability of Fadelistan so they wrote a peace treaty to stop Yaki. Yaki agreed. As long as Fadel did not hurt Aruuu in the relationship, Aruuu does not have to learn about Emerome or all the other bad news surrounding Fadel. Truly, I predict that if this treaty was not signed, Fadelistan would go under a ‘Faction Event’. For Fadel to be cheating, he probably would be the toxic one. At the same time, its so easy for Fadel to not break the treaty by isolating Aruuu from Yaki so that they can never talk to each other. Maybe one flaw is that Aruuu is unaware of the treaty.

Fadel fails to secure himself. On the holy night of Jan 17, the two girls have the most feminine conversation I have ever seen. I am a nice enough man to women that I will be able to overhear tea or directly get told tea about their insane personal drama. The way women will always not just console each other but empower each other with hating the man is so specific but yet unexplainable unless you watch it. That conversation was like watching Fadel get running over by a fleet of buses. Just one by one they crush his legs with their tires. I came in lowkey disliking him and left crying for my fellow brother. Like yeah, he sucks but holy shit! And to lessen his credit, he was also just fumbling the ball. They are talking about Emerome, the girl he cheated with, he learns this AND THEN HE CALLS EMEROME. How do you blow a lead like that??

THIS is why he could never be master manipulator. He called the girls, crying to Aruuu and shouting at Yaki, bro was all over the place. Don’t even need a faction event to usurp him, lmao. Maybe these e-girls are hella bad in real life cause why can’t Hazel, Ratbarf, and Fadel act rationally around them? Shits crazy to say but “Fool for you” rings true here. Sadly, we don’t even know Emerome’s perspective of Jan 17th. I just imagine her maybe having a late night snack before heading to bed, and then this crybaby called her because of his inclusive flirtatiousness. And to be clear, Fadel cheating here is because Aruuu caught him flirting with Emerome on stream. That just breaks the situationship down to the atoms. BRO IT WAS IN COURT?? 4K? 😭😭😭 He’s cooked its over.

I will say, the convo revealed some more things about the girls’ relationship with the bumbling baboon. They gossiped a shit ton and its only this gossip that would lead to the Breakdown Arc much later. Since Aruuu didn’t know of the peace treaty, she basically made it invalid by going to Yaki first, in the way that Yaki could turn the treaty into a casus belli. Aruuu really was the leader of the conversation; she brought up the misogyny of Fadelistan’s Chat, she brought up Emerome, and gave Yaki the chronology of events so Yaki could implicate Fadel of cheating. Yaki spent the convo halfway present, sometimes mentioning unrelated things and just adding examples to the issues Aruuu brought up. She tried to look for the nudes Fadel sent Emerome but only found a convo which was proof of Fadel having some kind of relation with Emerome. That’s why she says, “I know you believe me”, that wasn’t a manipulation tactic, that’s girl talk for “look how obvious your man is cheating”. Is it toxic? YEAH ITS FUCKING GOSSIP OF COURSE ITS TOXIC.

In the convo, Yaki reveals that due to the misogyny from Fadelistan, she would regret even having those fans which leads me to believe she didn’t ask for as many visitations as Fadel would say. Only the visitations in return for the ones she did because, as we’ve learned, she’s fair like that. The misogyny, to be specific, is the fact that whenever Fadel invited a female friend to court, Chat would speak of them as some common harlot and Fadel didn’t defend them. Both Aruuu and Yaki agree about this and are even concerned that Emerome was a target of such chatter. Fadel’s excuse is that Chat also abuses his Baron Johnny which is not very good either. The girls in their gossiping claim that at least Johnny gets defended and its not a sexualized abuse. Yaki also accuses Fadel for gossiping or at least sometimes talking bad about other people and Aruuu agrees bringing her examples.

Aruuu was NOT suspicious of Yaki all in this, I don’t know why she says so in her doc. She also only seems to remember Yaki’s side of the conversation so I’m really fucking happy Yaki scrolled up and screenshotted literally every line. Like yeah it was gross to watch total humilation but at least this was evidence. Let’s move on to when the girls get overly dramatic from my removed point of view; they both failed to sleep that night. Yaki was basically just lying in bed super anxious while Aruuu literally suffered tremors. I know she feels really bad about the lie Fadel sold and it was a very excited night but I lowkey giggled when I read that. She finally absolves to hating Fadel basically at sunrise. The way she declared it was like a realization in which I would be surprised she could return from. Like she hate hates this nigga, there’s no soft hatred or disliking. Hate is a strong word here.

So me and Yaki are then both shocked when she later texts Yaki that she was going to hang out with Fadel soon. They already had plans to hang out with a third friend but, still, shock. Being a supportive friend, Yaki just warns her to not let Fadel trick her into taking her back which is like the best girl on girl advice. This man broke your heart so bad you wanted to hate him, you know. Your body could’ve gotten Delirium Tremendous and your hanging out with him two days later? How did you recover? If I’m Yaki, I’m not even subtly gossiping that your friends with your cheater, I’m announcing it live on Twitch dot com.

This is one plot hole that is actually not answered by either Yaki’s or Aruuu’s perspective. Whenever she hung out with Fadel and the third kid, they must’ve resolved things. Yaki relates that later she saw they were cool with each other so she thought they resolved things privately and are just regular friends. She says she didn’t do anything about this but I would believe she may sometimes mention to people, “hey guys, this is my girly Aruuu…oh hey Fadel…” and then secretly state, “those two used to date but I think he cheated on her”. That’s totally what an Aries could do and I don’t think that’s really that malicious. It is bratty but not diabolical. Everyone who’d know them would also probably whisper about the relationship. I don’t actually care if you people befriend your cheater, it’s your intention to be mad at them or not but she HATED him. Like I’m sitting here wondering why this slut Fadel gets a second chance when she even says something to the effect of “he doesn’t even deserve me”. As a matter of fact, they are both fire signs, Yaki and Aruuu, and fire signs treat certain agreements as sacred. Yaki had her thing with promises but Aruuu’s ick is lying. She hated him for lying and was so happy that Yaki helped clear the air. If he did anything but lie about the flirting, she could’ve forgiven him. Unless I ask directly, I don’t think I’ll ever understand what happened between 1/17 and 4/6 for Aruuu to be politically entangled with Fadelistan. She had her own thing, she was an older creator, her power level is inflated by Tiktok so how did that idiot earn her friendship?

A wrong headcanon…one thing that’s funny is when I first read through the convo, I thought Fadel was ‘controlling’ Aruuu to make her say certain triggers to Yaki so that Yaki broke the treaty first. Just the way she lead the convo was so suspicious for some reason. Obviously the way Fadel broke down, he had no idea of this conversation. But then what was Aruuu trying to achieve here? She broke up with Fadel back in December anyways. In her doc I think she claims “Yaki will try to claim I was gossiping about Fadel” but there is no claim just raw evidence. She claims Yaki basically ran the gossip and was lying to her as a manipulation. I just don’t see it. It’s toxic behavior from them both. I could even believe many of the things they reveal to each other about Fadel to just be lies. They don’t investigate each other, just throwing examples of him being a shitty person. It’s so dramatic too. They both could have been lying, Yaki could be lying, Aruuu could be lying, or they both truthing. I imagine the misogynic moments have been caught on stream but they talk a lot of stuff out of stream stuff which should be considered hearsay. Some of the things they reveal are stuff Fadel said about the other which could also be lies from them both to get the other to hate Fadel….??? I don’t know bro, its Gossip Girl. This shit doesn’t happen to men because we would investigate like I am right now.

The Battle of the 17th was won by Aruuu and Yaki against Fadel. Moving from this, it seems there was no confrontation (unnecessary really) between Fadel and Yaki. The Cager of Games ended up just being another loser compared to Yaki. Yaki didn’t even break the treaty and her only social crime is Gossip which Fadel and Aruuu are also guilty of. Clout wise, at this point, Yaki was only a third as powerful as Fadel but this drama and continuous association with this misogynist cheater wouldn’t be the best thing. See, parasocials are fluent and so she simply moved closer to Alpharad during the next arc. For whatever reason, Aruuu spent the next arc getting closer to Fadel.

From Fadel’s words, it would seem Yaki’s switch caused him to attribute Alpharad as a rival despite how badly Jacob outscales him. Jacob is also unaware of any rivalry until its over. Yaki describes how Fadel would bad mouth Jacob at times and hated her for getting buddy buddy with him. What does he want? He doesn’t Yaki and then he does want her. Yeah, she would leave.

Back in 6th grade, I went to the local Catholic School since my parents are Haitian and it was completely white. The kids were enamored with me. But I remember one time my teachers talked about how its just plainly wrong to gossip. It was what the other white kids would commit to being adolescents although there wasn’t too much drama. The reason is that if the gossip was positive you could just directly compliment the person. If its negative; it only causes unclear hatred and division. It doesn’t help anyone in any circumstance. I would come to understand this and try my best never to do so even though people would tell me their tea all of the time. So the lesson from this story is not to gossip. It’s just bad. Fadel gossips about these girls and others to them both, they decide to gossip to each other, and then the culling happens. Just a series of unfortunate events from Fadel’s court. So if you got anything to say about anyone, say it to their face even if its rude. At least they know that you have beef and there’s no fake feminine energy.

From here, we kind of see more of Yaki’s protectiveness of friends and also her gossipy nature. That last part is what Ratbarf was afraid of so it must be something people learn from her after hanging out for a awhile. This makes her a bratty mean girl although that too for Aruuu. We also learn Aruuu hates liars and is quite emotional. Fadel is just a stupid cunt maybe. He is subordinate to the situation lmao.

After Hazel leaving and bringing Ultima into the house being the second domino, this event would be the third domino leading to

Ultima Arc

In between 1/17 and 4/6, it seems Yaki would make a shift toward Alpharad although this was already happening before 1/17. A collab was already in process.

Yaki was lucky Jacob had calmed down with his collabs. After covid, he jumped into real life Youtube content with the silliest stunts and Chris McClane style videos. If you don’t know, McClane is the host of Total Drama Island, a reality series where he psychologically and mainly physically tortures Canadian teens for a cash prize. Jacob admits to this very same thing to his own friend group lmao. It was calm at first, in the bottom of 2021 when he had just a live show of Romeo and Juliet and then a talent show. Then it turned into real life lethal mario kart, trapping friends in escape rooms, and even video game tournaments filled with gaslighting, fixing and bullshittery. Shit was hilarious for a viewer like me. Then towards the end of 2022, Jacob got REALLY invested in Pokemon nuzlockes to the point that the next quarter his channel was just nuzlockes. And one video was a collaborative challenge with some other folks.

Yaki was apart of it although I only saw Jacob’s video of the nuzlocke. I don’t like watching Pokemon gameplay that much so I’m not watching hers. Anyways, she would ask her roommate and Alpharad editor Ultima to edit her video. From the convo between them, I think the gang was going to release their videos near the same time so everyone had to be ready. Also Jacob perhaps needed to see it before it was posted so he could get his narrative down as his narratives are always good. I would say, even if I hate the game Jacob might be playing, his narration and story telling is sounds so interesting that my ears perk up. She gave the assignment to Ultima on the 19th expecting to get it down by the end of the month so her Patreon fans could receive their offering.

Now from Ultima’s point of view, he was burnt out of editing but willing to help a friend. He tries working on it but finds himself procrastinating due to the creative block from burn out. Then comes Yaki after the due date asking for video progress. And she comes again and again but he assures her he’ll get it down soon. Each time she is more aggressive and panicked to the point she finally starts shitting on him just as he’s nearly done with the video. His only excuse towards her is that he had other work and he never mentions being burnt out but I understand if he felt accosted in any of these convos.

Why do I keep pointing out that Yaki’s an Aries? Because in most of these screenshots I read, I hear the voice of my female Aries friend from high school. They way my friend would sometimes complain to me about the people she trusted to do some school work is the very same tone Yaki uses against her work partners. It’s just uncanny. In fact, I can imagine that if my friend (let’s call her Ary), if Ary was in some project with this kid Billy and they decided to divide the work. Then Ary has done her part and she tries to make sure Billy does his. Then the due date goes by and Ary checks and her grade is down. Because of course it has not been submitted since Billy is still working on it. THEN TEN DAYS PAST and while she has begged the teacher for extensions, Billy is really dropping the ball. Ary would then come to me and have no kind words to say about Billy while she lets out her frustrations. I’d sit back laughing, unable to relate to her dilemma.

Now let’s talk about the actual process here. Ultima is doing this for free as a friend but we know form the Tommie Arc that is a bad thing. Ultima does act unaware of the original due date but continuously he reassures her it will be done. Yaki is a bit forgiving in that she asks if she should just get someone else and most confrontations are just asking for an update. But he’s too dodgy to give real updates. She of course isn’t even just pressuring him for herself, this project will pay for the house, feed her fans, and ally her with Jacob. It’s not like the Vtuber model which could just be left in the drafts and it’d still work out. Luckily she doesn’t seem to jeopardize the friendship with Ultima despite how justifiably harsh she may be. She even says it would be better if he never accepted the job rather than fail to finish it which is true. In the end, he does finish and a week later Jacob posts his video.

Maybe Yaki should’ve been more clear about the due date at first but she’s honestly improved in administration this time around. Still, I don’t know if her first choice should be her roommate that Jacob might use himself. Does she really not have money for an editor or did Ultima just offer himself? She does ask Ultima to make another video much later on but there’s less details about that.

We can talk about Ultima’s status for a moment. The first time I read through, I thought he was extrasocial like Hazel but the second time, I realized he had been Jacob’s editor for awhile (I don’t check the fucking description on videos) and so technically closer to him than Yaki was at the time. At least I would suggest. I don’t really know. In these convos, I will say he is very very timid, almost pussy-like. In his perspectives, he says he never argues with Yaki as if he has restraint but I simply think he can’t. He definitely doesn’t try to when discussing this video or the noise complaints. He may be intimidated of her especially because she’s so goddamn confrontational. That’s another similarity she shares with my friend Ary. You transgress her, she will be coming to YOU.

From later descriptions, Aruuu, Fadel, and Ultima seem to agree that the intimidation came from Yaki’s clout online and her pull in the house. They use examples of her saying things of using Jacob’s name against them, which would be evil. Besides that, I feel like their attributing to malice to what is Bad Chemistry. I don’t think someone as timid as Ultima and someone as confrontational as Yaki should be roommates in nature. She had this problem before with Hazel. She’d demand Hazel to clean and Hazel acted all avoidant fueled by nerves. She pesters Ultima to lower his volume and he has to double down on kissing her feet or some gay shit. Just psychologically a bad match.

To the noise thing, this is some real pussy shit. Ruby is this extrasocial that Yaki probably met in college and they started dating soon after Hazel. He described the house as having thin walls and so noise would be an expectation. But Yaki streamed one time of day and sometimes Ultima was loudly watching Nothing Forever at that point. Ruby also states that they also asked Ultima if they were ever being loud but he was probably too timid to bring up noise complaints. Yaki showcases some screenshots of her asking about noise, and each time she tries to share relatability as she doesn’t want to actually pester him but this is the situation they’re stuck with. I call this pussy shit cause what roommates wouldn’t have noise complaints? I am surprised that, apparently, Ultima could be heard in a Yaki stream. That’s just funny and ridiculously loud. I don’t care though.

There the car issue between the two of them and again it feel like someone switched their memories. Ultima says she never filled up the car. Yaki says she had to remind him to fill up the car. She also discovered a gasoline leak so that’s funny. Again, this is pussy shit. This isn’t serious social crime between her and him. We are adults here, right? Just get the gas when and where you can and move on. THEY ARE GAMERS. Ruby goes to school but how tf are they driving so often? Ugh, I don’t really care. I will point out, if Yaki is a fair person, then she would want to ask Ultima to fill the car whenever she did but I don’t know enough about Ultima to believe his side on this particular thing.

Let’s just end this arc. We learn Ultima is a Charlie Brown, timid to Lucy (Yaki) but whining to Linus (Fadel) which is actually later on. That doesn’t mean he’s a bad person, I’m not making fun of him, we’re just recognizing the psyche. I also wanna say Ultima is maybe self unaware as well as being forgetful. Not to call his actual long term memory shit but to need to be reminded about noise or gas frequently enough that the other person asking sounds annoying or aggressive seems like your problem. Not that she should be either thing in the moment and yet he’s unaware of this from his persepective. We learn that Yaki is confrontational, assertive, intimidating, and I want to say ambitious.

I’ve presented Yaki as ambitious by always saying she has this ‘great idea’ cause I think her self-centered pursuit of these ideas really shine when you remember she’s fodder. She just restarted her career at 22 and isn’t big yet. Of course she’d want to attach to Fadel or Jacob in order to get big and not have worry about some shitty mortgage. Unfortunately that’s another disconnect between her and Ultima. Later he shows desires to start his own streaming but that’s just a desire, not an ambition. Yaki is able to grab Nathan as a safety net, her dear friend Tommie for a shitty thing, Mahado and Ultima for videos all for her to get even more discovered even if it means losing friendships with these folks. But that last part makes her overly ambitious and hopefully she doesn’t end up high and dry from it.

The lesson is kind of to be careful who you surround yourself by. I can be timid myself but I don’t pent up the frustration others can bring me because I don’t surround myself with certain people. So that’s to Ultima and all other timid people. To do this, everyone also needs to just be more self aware. That way even Yaki could recognize “maybe I should be nicer to Ultima” after begging two weeks for the video. Or at least there could be some reconciliation. Izzy Arc

“So what’s awesome about Spore is that if you try to make it 16 by 9 and you click this button or this button and you click okay, nothing happens” states Jacob recording a video in a Cathedral about Spore possibly on the 5th of April.

Yo it’s tournament arc time. Well this is not a real tournament arc, there’s just so many characters we will only have to worry about once. What’s interesting here is despite the one sided beef Fadel may have for Jacob, Fadelistan and Alphapolis members interact here very easily thus showing how gaseous parasocials are.

But let’s do worldbuilding! The Alphapolis has a better reason for existing than Fadelistan. First of all, Jacob himself is pretty big to the point I would like to call him an Emperor of the Sea along with his big time allies “Moist Critical” Charlie White and “Mogul” Ludwig Aghren. The three are highly relevant despite their power levels. Jacob spent the last year building a new social circle in LA although he had his Oklahoma friends and Smash Bros friends. With these connections, someone could abstract Alphapolis as this thriving large empire where the king has these crazy fun challenges and high autonomy for vassals. One thing, Jacob himself is a reserved person. He likes his friends and everything but he likes his alone time. So he’s not some absolutist king like Napoleon B but closer to G Washington (who famously didn’t want to be president).

So let me name some Alphapolis members at the higherst order. We got Editors DotColin and (previously) Ultima. There’s ‘Viceroy’ JoSniffy, the wholesome ‘Baron’ Dash, ‘Chamberlain’ Deanna, ‘Most Serene Ally’ Jaiden Animations, ‘Prime Minister’ Elle, ‘Duke of Jesting’ Jawsh, ‘Magistrate of Acoustics’ Adriana Figuero, ‘Majordomo’ Duncan, and ‘Champion of the Joust’ Esam. Uh all of the roles are made up, obvi.

Then there’s some small folks actually important to the story; incredibly hot Sonic voice actor Izzy, online educator Justus, and illustrator Abi in one little group. It seems Izzy is friendly with both Jacob and Fadel. There’s also another random guy Spuuky. He seems cool.

Alright a precursor, in March, I describe how Yaki was basically bragging to Aruuu about how cool Alphapolis was. There’s no detail in this conversation but we can imagine a few things. Aruuu admits that Yaki wanted to invite her to the society after inviting her to a Vtuber thing so that probably happened here. I also imagine Yaki pointed out that Alphapolis wasn’t misogynistic and the maybe she needed to let go of Fadel. Although I don’t know if Yaki would try to seriously break them up as now they are in her rearview mirror. It would seem not even necessarily bad for Aruuu to change allegiances as well or more so act neutrally like Izzy does. Funny detail, this is a 22 year old bragging to a 26 year old about her internet friends, God help us all.

Ah Izzy. I’ll try my best to controlling myself. Compared to her, Yaki and Aruuu are so mid. I didn’t even know, so there’s this dubber on YouTube by the name of Jehtt but you’ve might’ve caught him on Tiktok. He dubs clips from Sonic cutscenes and animations which are fairly recognizable in the Sonic fandom. Apparently she voices some characters, that’s so cool.

It was Izzy’s birthday on the sixth, so they planned a trip with a couple of her friends for a nice party. Yaki had her birthday a few days before but I guess they were lowkey celebrating together. Aruuu was bringing her present for Yaki on this trip. They gang arrived at the same time and then headed to their residence. I guess Jacob’s house could only board 4 people, I don’t know where he stayed while they were here.

It sucks about the dinner on the 4th as Aruuu was told she couldn’t because Adrianna didn’t want to meet her. I mean Yaki and Izzy were supposed to be the ones to introduce anyone including Aruuu so it seems counterintuitive to in fact not introduce her. And it’s hypocritical for Yaki to specifically tell her not to to. Even if, I will believe Aruuu here as this night gives credence to how lonely she felt for the whole trip. She wasn’t miserable enough to not later go to the arcade with Izzy’s friends, I would’ve just gone to bed.

Then the next day, they have a conversation about going to the aquarium but it was certainly not an agreement to go the aquarium. It’s because they never really agree to a time or transportation and if those things aren’t cleared with your friend group, you basically got no obligation to go. It’s ironic Aruuu blames Yaki in her doc for ghosting her about the aquarium plans when Yaki was the most excited about it. Yaki was really the only one who woke up early enough to go. Even when everyone woke up late, it was maybe too late to go to the aquarium but there was no asking about it. Ridiculous but expected friend group problem.

After the conversation (but still on the 5th) they meet up in Little Tokyo. According to Steven Suptic, the area is just okay. Aruuu describes Yaki acting two faced here because of Fadel’s presence, but what was she supposed to do? Act mean to his face? On a friendly adventure? Obviously Yaki’s gonna act fake happy like she wasn’t there when you guys found out he cheated. That seems the most fair if he also isn’t being aggressive.

This image is so funny. It is taken perhaps 20 hours before the three girls Izzy, Aruuu, and Yaki would blow up. And there’s Fadel in the middle, just fucking around. Um I didn’t talk about it yet here because I feel weird about. Aruuu describes getting left at some brohome by Izzy and Yaki but according to my doc, they didn’t spend that much time together as a threesome. Here is evidence of the threesome together, the night she got ditched somewhere. But this could not be the brohome as Fadel is here so I don’t know why neither describe this event. Yaki remembers going to a strange friend’s house (which could be Radstads-Spuuky) but they all look chill here.

Then came the party which was not a super big thing. It seemed to be actually just like a dozen Sonic fans chilling in someone’s house. But I have to wonder what else happened at this party besides the seemingly loud arguments between the girls. Like Yaki describes herself walking the neighborhood and since its so small, Aruuu being super late would actually be noticeable. It’s surprising to me that Fadel didn’t elect to bring/come with Aruuu himself since they spent all of yesterday together. Oh but wait, Izzy invited him late, what was this party trying to be? The other thing I’m confused is why the address could be confused but more importantly the timing of things.

I think Aruuu vs Izzy happens first. Unfortunately (while an Aries) Izzy is less ready for this and completely breaks down. What a sucky birthday. She blames every bit of loneliness experienced by Aruuu onto Yaki, most likely out of anxiety. She doesn’t want to actually be implicated since….you know…its her birthday. But if we believe the hype then Yaki does have a stronger power level than her. Also Yaki’s Intimidate probably worked on Izzy. Sigh, a 20/10 like her shouldn’t have to suffer any of this drama.

Aruuu moves on to Aruuu vs Yaki and I can’t imagine this didn’t interrupt the party but the girls still had their conversation. It was apparently loud at first and then Yaki calmed down. There was still probably heavy aggression. There isn’t too much recollection on specific quotes, which argumentative style either was using, or even info on bystanders like supposedly Fadel. Izzy seemed to be straight up crying at this point and if Fadel was the master manipulator, then he would be in the corner cackling. From Aruuu, we know she tried to accuse Yaki of being exclusive and covert although we don’t really know how defensive Yaki was. Yaki describes this argument as a sudden attack and the first thing that happened for her inside the party. I think it’s funny to posit that Ohio and Michigan possessed them for this moment. But I can’t imagine this argument having that much spice or anything. It’d just be Aruuu saying something like, “you ditched me at some bro house/why did you stop me from going to the dinner?/why did you flake on the aquarium plans?/why are you acting fake around Fadel when you lied about him cheating?” and Yaki can just say “nuh uh” because according to her own doc, those things didn’t happen like that. So it wouldn’t even be like a good debate, you know?

But then everyone moved on!? Like there still a party after this at least part of it. There’s a few pictures of the night on anyone’s twitters but they must be before the fights, somehow. They would be awkward to look at now, ironically. I guess Izzy’s gang didn’t stay too long afterwards. Izzy described the car ride with Yaki as intense and she was very yelly but Yaki is unaware of how badly she may have sounded. She might’ve been amped up due to the whole shebang and yet, Izzy still doesn’t deserve to get screamed at from a fair person. I think Aruuu went to bed feeling bad. Not a good vibe at all.

Well this is one more credit to Alpharad having some power over others. But it is beneficial power. He would have a deliberation with Yaki and Izzy to clear things. They seemed to have discussed Yaki’s possible gossiping habits and cleared the air on the bad news it spawned. A beneficial administrator. This is probably where Jacob learned of Fadel and later talked him down from the one sided beef. A charismatic diplomat. Jacob also handily defeats the suspicions of the betrayed Aruuu in a discord convo. A conquering militant. Just another day as an Emperor of the Sea.

The other characters like Izzy-Aruuu and Yaki-Fadel would seem to resolve things without Jacob’s intervention. Now they aren’t all friends it seems, just that the beef has been squashed. Chat would not learn of this and without any faction event, they don’t have to act out against each other as creators. It seems Izzy may have unfriended Aruuu or maybe kept her more distant after this. I think Yaki and Fadel are directly opposed to each other after this. There’s no way she has any Fadelistan citizenship and so she’s firmly Alphapolis. Yaki and Aruuu also despise each other to the point that one could consider them rivals. For some reason, they do have text convos after this but its short and surface level. Fadel and Izzy should be unaffected.

Aruuu claims that after this arc, she suffered a loss of connections from an assortment of people that may have been convinced by Yaki. I mean, she didn’t do any favors for herself ruining Izzy’s birthday party. There is only evidence of Yaki hating on Fadel for showing up so I think it’s just an application of malice placed on Yaki.

From this bad birthday, we learn Izzy is less confrontational than Yaki or Aruuu because she’s just a little guy. She should not be involved. We learn Aruuu hates FOMO, feeling alien, is confrontational, and yet not an escalator. Yaki admits that Aruuu calmed her down in their fight. So she’s probably a directly speaking and conflict-avoidant person. I think Yaki was overly protective enough to act exclusive and cliquey within her own friend group, that’s crazy. She also showed the leadership (or controlling) traits that nearly every sign hates Aries for displaying. I found that some people think my old friend Ary is controlling but I always thought that was her trying to be a leader. But idk, I like being Vice Captain Roronoa Zoro. But Yaki wasn’t like out right commanding Izzy’s party, she just took charge when it needed to be done from evidence shown. Well, she didn’t do that for the aquarium. Shame on her. There’s something Yaki mentioned in the 1/17 conversation that if she gets shouted at, her anxiety shoots up. I would say she could act slightly uncharacteristic in such moments or simply escalate her own volume. That’s probably why she remembers Aruuu attacking her before anything else at the party. And so I do believe she may have shouted at Izzy in the car ride home because she would’ve still been in that excited state. If she was intimidating before, imagine after getting charged up.

Oh wait what’s the crime? Um Exclusionary Tactics. Yeah yeah cause even if you don’t like someone, you can’t just let them sit alone at their own lunch table. They could actually be pretty cool. Or mentally insane. But! It’s just a bad habit to develop. Be open first and then close doors if things don’t work. I think somewhere Adrianna admitted she didn’t even know about Aruuu so that really was Yaki being over protective and even if, one should give Aruuu a chance there. Ironically, Yaki couldn’t do anything if say Fadel was already present. Also second mini-lesson for Aruuu types, drop your baggage. If you ever do have beef or a suspicion with someone but you’re at some function, I do think it’s tactically better to ignore the past. Just be fake for the party so you don’t ruin the good vibes. Then maybe later, you guys could reconcile. Like Izzy has to reconcile with each of our three protagonists but she didn’t have to if they all acted fake. And she would’ve enjoyed her party. Now turning 22 is a real bad memory for her because of the three gossiping stooges. A birthday party that would be the next domino for

Jacob: “it would be a real shame if the episode ended right now” Long pause. “Good thing it didn’t”
