The actual fucking movie
Act 1
Scene 1: The movie would begin with Doom sinking into the ocean (when Johnny defeated him in the last movie, he fell into the South China Sea) unconscious. Eventually, we see mermaids carry him off. He wakes up in a bright undersea cavern which has been turned into a very aquatic throne room. On the throne would be Namor, trident in hand. Namor asks who he is and Doom explains himself as “A man who is lost”. Namor glazes himself as he introduces himself “imperator of the five oceans and many great seas, warrior yet undefeated by any man or other…”. As the two talk a little longer, Doom learns of Namor’s hate for surface-dwellers and especially the industrialists of the world. Doom then informs him about the most premier inventor who is “planning to ruin the seas”: Reed Richards. Namor has heard this name recently as the Atlantians keep track of the human newsfeed and so he believes Doom. Namor then announces to his generals to gather the forces. “It will take some time but, soon Doom, Reed Richards will die!”

Scene 2: We’re jumping back into the lives of our Fantastic gang. Ben is helping Susan with breakfast while Johnny runs through rather quickly. One could see Reed’s arm stretch into frame for some food Ben and Susan are talking; she mentions her 3 month pregnancy and he mentions that he has to meet Alicia’s father soon and he’s nervous to impress. Transition; Johnny flies to a lower floor of the Baxter Building where Reed is enjoying that coffee. Other young scientists begin gathering in the lab with Johnny throwing on a random lab coat. He jokes with the other scientists including Peter Parker and then he bumps into Crystal who kind of corrects him before teasing him. They flirt for a bit before Reed draws everyone’s attention. So these assistants are here, ten of them, are helping Reed for his big project in this movie. They are described to be college students whose help here will help them earn credits and money along with clout.
The project is building a projector that would spawn a wormhole in order to access anti-matter. Reed will mention he has done some testing of theories on anti-matter which he thinks will help solve the Thing’s condition and help him come to an understanding of their powers. This of course leads into the Negative Zone in the comics and the next film. Now the Portal Projector would be a small machine shaped like a pyramid as a series of rising towers. Then it would have four wires from across the room to generate its energy. The energy to power the machine, as we see later, will take the city’s entire powergrid. Once working, the machine will shoot a laser which, according to Reed’s calculations, will be able to pierce space-time in the upper atmospheres thus making a wormhole where matter make come in and anti-matter may come out. Theoretically.
Peter is joining this project for the money ofc but it is good lab experience for our favorite nerd. Crystal says she is also here for lab experience especially as she is studying the transformation of matter (evaporation, freezing, ect).
Scene 3: Now we zoom transition out of Manhattan and America to Africa…the East…and to Wakanda! Camera would gaze past the borderlands and rivers before rising toward the great mountain of vibranium and then the great waterfall. T’Challa of the Panther Tribe and M’Baku of the Gorilla will fight over the throne. Over the administration of the confederation of the five tribes, they already have their powers. T’Challa wins and gives mercy to M’Baku thus earning favors over him. As T’Challa’s first ruling, he declares that Wakanda will open borders, but the council of clan heads strongly disagree. So he convinces them that if he finds the world’s smartest man to be a good person, then they should start to open the border. That man is known to Wakanda as Reed Richards.
Scene 4: This will stretch for some time. It’s a long montage of the project being built and tested along with some other scenes inbetween it. It will bring us to the end of act 1. Checklist for the montage;
- Scenes with Johnny and Crystal goofing off, flirting, and getting to know each other. They are pretty compatible as she can both match his hotheaded attitude or cool him off with some intimate shouting.
- In the “Amazing Fantasy” Cut, there would be scenes of Johnny and Parker bonding as Johnny is overly nice and reliant on geeks like him, even praising Maguire for breakthroughs.
- Then there’s the date scene with the Thing. Ben Grim and Alicia go to the Masters Building which is said to be in Greenwich Village. He’s in his trenchcoat of course but Alicia tells him her father is already aware of his condition since the F4 are world famous. But when they meet this Philip, Ben already fucks things up with a bad handshake. And then also all of Philip’s butlers are afraid of the Thing. And even in convo, well they just don’t mesh at all. Different senses of humor and values and everything. Eventually, Philip gets super fucking angry and forbids Alicia from dating Ben ever again. Furious, Ben breaks the door on his way out.
- Meanwhile, Susan is dealing with her pregnancy pains and while Reed tries his best, he can’t help her much. Eventually one of the scientists recommends him an excellent midwife who lives in Midtown (lmao). Agatha Harkness (who is originally a Fantastic character), can be played by some old lady. She wouldn’t have more than 5 minutes of screentime here but Agatha is able to help soothe Susan’s difficulties.
- There will be a scene, after Crystal and Johnny finish making out; she’s walking through the streets when Medusa spots her. Hiding in the shadows, Medusa reminds her sister to not get distracted from her mission. We should just barely see her red hair dancing in the shadows.
- Completion scenes as they finally get it to the last touches. It will be implied that it took a month to build.
Scene 5: As the media buzzes about the new potential invention of Richards’, a supersonic jet lands on a random building in NY. T’Challa and some guards leave it in a scene of aura farming. At the front of the Baxter Building, Reed is having a make shift press conference as the media BEGS for details on his project. The mayor of NY is here as he came to an agreement with Reed. T’Challa pushes past the crowd and listens in; “As Mayor of New York, we will give our full cooperation and trust in Reed Richards. He has seen the stars and now he wants to see other stars. His interdimensional portal will need all of us to shut our power for just a few minutes…and then, we New Yorkers will behold a whole new world!” People clap in such and so the mayor is able to leave the paparazzi while Reed goes back inside. T’Challa will spawn in and his guards will royally introduce him. Cut to another scene of lunch on the patio with the F4, Crystal and BP. He talks about the foundation of the Wakandan nation via the Vibranium asteroid from 5000 years ago. He talks about the linage of Panthers and so forth in order to confirm his advanced society. The white folk are amazed at this. T’Challa then questions Reed on the portal technology and after hearing the specifics, he recalls a story from 200 years aga when a Wakandan king tried the same kind of portal with the same formulas as Reed’s. The portal actually caused devastation; obliterating 1/10th of the country and so that technology has been forbidden ever since. He warns Reed to “double check” the numbers to not cause such a controversy. Cocky, Reed confirms that his numbers are correct.
Act II
Scene 1: The people of NY are clamoring to finish their work as the time for the first real exposition of the laser. The laser is fixed in the top floor of the Baxter Building of which the ceiling opens to allow the laser to go through. Then, as the countdown finishes, people throughout the island turn off their lights and power systems. T’Challa and his people are watching from their plane. Namor arrives by the Statue of Liberty with Doom and his army. In the shadows, Medusa and Blackbolt are watching. And according to the media, the rest of the entire planet is watching as China, Russia, England, France, and Egypt make comments. So the scientist trigger all the sequences and then Reed presses the big red button. The laser fires off shooting into the sky…into the upper atmospheres…and then it begins to break space-time. Little by little a portal begins to open. People outside their homes watch in awe. But then sirens blare from the machine although Reed ignores this. And suddenly, a giant bolt of lightning shoots out out of the portal (which closes) and decimates a portion of NY. It explodes and only screams can be heard as fire and smoke come out. Only now does Reed shut down the laser and starts panicking. Doom says, “See what he does to his own people? Imagine what he will do to yours.” and so Namor starts a war chant. As for T’Challa, he declares this to his guards. And for BB and Medusa, they appear to Crystal to give her their judgement. Overplayed and synced together, the King of Wakanda, the King of Atlantis, and the King of Inhumans declare “Reed Richards must die”.
Scene 2: Johnny flames on to go help civilians under that blast while Ben and Susan go find Reed who is absolutely crashing out. He doesn’t understand how he could be so wrong and especially for something like that to happen, it never happened in any of the minor tests. During his delirium, he reveals to Ben that he was going use the other dimension to help his condition rather than just exploration and so Ben consoles him to ease the guilt. National guard arrives to civilians and also put Reed Richards under house arrest with the presence of the President. Immediately the mayor and media put all blame on him and slander him for such a disaster.
- In the AF cut, Spider-Man will ofc show up to help out the Human Torch save civilians. They could even team up on stopping one of the skyscrapers from falling.
Scene 3: T’Challa overly pays a hotel in cold cash to stay the night in NY with his troops. “I need to speak with the ancestors.” He says before filling the bathtub with Wakandan dirt. Meanwhile, Crystal argues with her sister Medusa and brother-in-law Blackbolt about killing Reed. Blackbolt signs and Medusa speaks for him. He further argues that humans also need to be led by the technologically advanced Inhuman civilization as they are too divided and held down by prejudices of each other. Crystal argues that this was a simple mistake and that Reed didn’t mean to decimate NY. BB rejects this. Then she strongly admits that she is in love with Johnny. Understanding this, Blackbolt decides that she can bring him to Attilan to see and join Inhuman society and thus they will all abandon humanity for the future. She goes to the Baxter Building, and sneaks Johnny out ‘for a talk’. Then they are beamed to space.
Scene 4: the next day, Reed is still lamenting while Susan can’t find her brother. Ben assumes he’s still in the recovery effort. Ben and Reed look out the window and talk about their journey here as the Federal agents watch and Susan rests. Then, suddenly towers of water start exploding out of all the sewage holes in the streets. Merman and mermaids jump out of it attacking civilians and structures. From the Hudson, Namor uses Surf, sending a wave of water as tall as some of the buildings. Oh this is way worse than 9/11. Using the tidal wave, Namor surfs over to Baxter Building which is very inland mind you. His elite guard surround him. “Hey uh, looks like that guy is coming right at us,” Ben mentions. Reed nods. Then the water and Atlantians burst through the window as Reed and Ben run back. First they get overwhelmed by the water but after that, recedes, the elite guards men jump Ben and kill the federal agents. Namor punches Reed into another room and corners him for a nasty combo. Namor can do some damage to rubbery Reed just due to raw power. Reed can’t even use Bind as Namor uses Strength to break out of his hold. As Namor attacks the silent Reed, he gives a speech on his hatred of industrialists and his awe inspiring strength. Then to finish off Reed, he says “Imperius Rex” and stabs him with his trident. Reed lies there in his own blood. While Ben is still having difficulty with the squadron attacking him, Namor looks around the house for the Machine. He finds Susan asleep and is awe struck at her beauty. Bending over, he kisses her on the lips. He pulls back, we see her wake up and go invisible. Namor gasps and then is in further shock as she starts beating on him unseen. He raises his trident toward her and she bubbles herself with a force field. Namor comments on her beauty and she force blasts him into the bathroom. From there, Namor uses his water-bending trident to flood Susan’s room before she can force field herself and so she drowns. His guards come into the room and he commands them to carry her delicately. Water transition screen…
Scene 5: The very badly beaten Thing catches his breath as water spills out of the room. The Black Panther walks by him and he notices late. Thing asks who he is and he says, “Not that you need to know as what I was looking for is not here.” Recognizing his voice, the Thing then asks T’Challa to help them out but bro refuses. The Wakandan leaps off the balcony and is caught by his jet. Ben finds Reed who used tomato paste to look like he got stabbed by the trident. Reed says he’ll look for Susan while the Thing gets into the Fantasti-Car. He goes after the Wakandan jet. Meanwhile, Doom aura-farms walking across the flooding city on the surface of the water. He then busts into the Baxter Building. He enters the room with the portal laser and finds Reed checking over things. He attacks Reed with some lightning and a quick monologue. He uses electricity to magnetically rip the machine and all its parts out of the ground and then he rides it as he sails across the sky with the laser. Reed stretches, just barely holding on to it and the Manhattanites comment on this.
Scene 6: On the Dark Side of the Moon…the City of Attilan. Dug into a crater, there’s towering spires that make up the futuristic city. The metal is chrome and there seems to b an atmosphere only around the city. To travel here, Crystal and Johnny were shot as a light beam to a satellite that shot them to a receiver in Attilan. It was instantaneous but this scene won’t happen until now. Crystal takes Johnny on a quick tour of the city and he sees all the many different Inhumans. Some of them look weird some of them act weird. The Inhuman characters could wear more space age outfits. She also explains the lore of how they moved up here when Homo Sapiens started getting extremely ‘territorial’ killing off other hominids and then how recently, Maximus tried to start a coup against his brother BB. They sleep in her royal bedroom and he has a breakfast fit for a prince. In the royal palace, he meets BB and Medusa along with the Inhuman bulldog Lockjaw. They tell him how he would be accepted in their society and that Reed would be safe if he leaves Earth forever. BB-Medusa argue that Reed’s inventions will eventually cause an arms race and if someone takes his tools, they could cause planetary extinction. But not only does Johnny know and trust Reed to not causse this but he wants to remain a protector of Earth if this were to happen. Flying over to the Teleporter, he returns to Earth as a laser beam instantly.
Scene 7: Ben is able to follow and basically chase the Wakandans back to their very specific route thus landing in Wakanda himself. He pauses, amazed at the landscape and great mountain. But then he flies to the capital palace. Landing right after T’Challa, the king approaches him and is very angry at his presence. “Well excuse me your majesty, you walked right into our place I’ll walk into yours!” And with some more banter, T’Challa seems charmed by him. BP gives him a sight seeing tour; they look over the country from the castle. He describes each of the five tribes and how vibranium made their civilization so advanced. The civilians are semi-surprised to see Grimm but only because no outsiders have ever visited the country rather than his rocky skin. After getting fed an African dinner, Ben pleads with the Council of Chiefs to forgive Reed since it was just an accident. But BP argues that he had warned the scientist of the potential danger and was yet ignored. And due to his promise with the council, Reed and the rest of mankind has been found unworthy. But Ben promises that Reed will fix everything, “or he wouldn’t be my very best friend”. He escapes the meeting, jumping down to the Fantasti-Car and leaves the country.
Scene 8: Susan wakes up once again in some bright blue cavern where nurse-mermaids are watching her status. They tell her she is in Atlantis which she does not initially believe. Some ladies come by and dress her in white and bring her down into the water with an air bubble around her head. Using a bubble, they travel down and across the undersea kingdom with the girls explaining their existence.* All of the sea people wear beachy, sailor, piratey, or otherwise water themed clothing which is said to be made of a special type of sea plant. When they arrive on a stage, it is revealed that Susan is to be marrying Namor as he turns around with a pearl-ring for her. Furious, Susan just shouts at him while he tries to excuse himself but then the Fantasti-Car appears near by and she blasts herself towards it. Ben catches her and flies out with Human Torch waiting out by the surface of the ocean. Ben mentions that the GPS is beeping for Reed’s location in Latveria so they fly over there. Meanwhile Namor curses this rejection to his people.
- Homo Aquatic evolved separately and were push out by early humans to the seas. They adapted much like dogs into whales thus being mammalian sea creatures. An asteroid would fall into the East Atlantic making the island of Atlantis that was unreachable by mankind at that time. The mermen tribe went to the surface of that island and built a civilization there that even traded with ancient Greeks until it sunk into the ocean. At around the 1200s BC, the Atlanteans were led by a mad king and conquered the Middle East thus spawning legends about them to all mankind. But over time, the Atlanteans spread across the seas underwater and the few times they came to the surface, there was always the murderous Conquistadors and Dutch Company men. The World War period was the worst as submarine warfare disturbed underwater civilization. The Generous Queen went to the surface to plead with mankind but instead fell in love with a man named McKenzie. She would bare his son, Namor, who mutated into having angle wings. He’s the first ever crossbreed in history. During the Second World War, Namor fought the U-boats on his own with his trident forged out of the center of his asteroid, infused with cosmic energy from the Sun. Now he continues to reign as King of Atlantis these days.
Scene 9: (Doom had to keep focus on carrying the machine across the ocean so he was unable to rid Reed who continued to hang on) Doom lands in Latveria and Reed lets go falling onto a roof completely exhausted. We can now see Latveria in it’s full beauty. Well it would be just a medieval brick and marble town with the Doomstadt Castle in the center. Doom flies there and we see his lab which isn’t nearly as impressive as Reed’s. He reassembles the machine as according to the blueprints but then he discovers something…
Act 3
Scene 1: In a bar, Reed has buried his face in big hands. Ben, Susan, and Johnny find him and are able to absolve his feelings. If anything, he is happy that he was able to take out a very important component from the machine thus rendering it useless in Doom’s hands. “He’s has nothing to destroy the world with”. Doom realizes this himself as Namor arrives in his castle. Namor comments on the dustiness of Doom’s space. Namor doesn’t even ask about the machine but asks for Susan’s whereabouts since he followed the Fantasti-Car to this country. Before Doom can say, Blackbolt arrives outside with the sound of thunder. He flies into the castle and looks around curiously. Then BP falls from his jet landing in the castle. BP reveals to the party that Reed is still alive and that according to his tracker, the Thing should be nearby. Namor at first argues with BP but Doom settles the argument as his security cameras have already located the F4.
Scene 2: The F4 stand bravely on one of the walls of the castle facing a balcony that Doom and his new allies walk onto. Some banter between the 8 as Reed argues they are only here to stop Doom. Doom then dramatically reveals that they are the Frightful Four who will bring humanity to a brighter future than Reed’s device. After settling the causus belli between them all, they 8 fight! Now this hasn’t been a heavy action series in Tim Story’s hands and I don’t intend to make it one BUT this will most likely be the longest action sequence in the whole saga.
So first, Johnny throws “Entei” a giant fireball that splits up the Frightful. Blackbolt shoots out of it tackling the Thing off the building. Reed wraps his arm around BB who takes a deep breath and blasts them with sound which is guarded by Sue’s barrier. The sound blasts parts of the wall but then Reed flings BB high into the air. After Reed’s commands to do so, Johnny flies after him. They start fighting up there while Black Panther fails to claw through Sue’s barrier protecting herself and Reed. Doom pushes BP aside, “allow me to do the honors”. Doom then coats the barrier with his electricity and then is able to left it up (along with the couple) and toss it over the city. They bounce off one building and she loses focus so it breaks; Reed lands in a library while Sue lands on a bridge over a small river. “Go deal with that orange skinned thing,” Doom tells BP as he walks away. BP leaps down to the streets where Ben has a punch already ready for him. BP throws his own punch and when their fists clashed, the shockwave shook the streets and buildings. Then they started brawling…over on the bridge, Sue recovers. In a Raimi-esque scene, fish start shooting out of the river to menace Susan until a blast of water forces her underwater. Down there she surrounded her head with her barrier thus allowing her to breath. Namor speaks, “in my culture everyone who is able-bodied is a warrior and even men sometimes have to challenge women for their hand in marriage…thank you for accepting my challenge!” And lastly Doom blasts opens the door to the library. He paces through the aisles as he and Reed converse about their relationship…
So for Blackbolt vs Human Torch; it would be filmed like a dogfight with them flying around each other, using cloud cover, and blowing trees with their winds. There will also be a point where Johnny tries to tests Bolt’s speed where he finds out the inhuman can infact go supersonic. Johnny would be blasting fire balls and BB would be shooting sound blasts with his screams. Narratively, BB will reveal that he actually has a high level of respect for Johnny. He trusts his sister-in-law implicitly and if she trusts Johnny and Johnny trusts Reed, well maybe…
For Black Panther vs the Thing; the Wakandan is much more agile and technical than the Thing who can land bigger hits and won’t really get knocked off his feet. BUT neither of them can damage each other, they are both practically invulnerable and so the fight is a war of attrition just to see who gets exhausted first. Still though, in the earlier scenes they had found comradery between the two. T’Challa never treated the rock monster like anything and being black T’Challa respects the Thing for protecting mankind despite their mistreatment of him. T’Challa understands that whites would be afraid of himself as a hero and Wakanda (and in reverse Wakanda is afraid of humans for looking and acting different). So its nothing personal…
Namor vs Susan; Do you guys know Sanji from One Piece. Yes well despite Namor potentially wanting to fight her, he does not land his hits and pulls his punches. He keeps trying to flirt and she keeps blasting him with force. There is some irony here, if you consider that Namor is the strongest person here (he is in my book) that he would be able to wipe out F4 one by one allowing Doom to succeed in his plans which he wouldn’t even be entirely against since humans would suffer. But Namor’s crush on Susan (which Doom once shared in the first movie) would ruin all of that. Anyways, eventually she’ll leave the water and trap him in an airless forcefield where he suffocates and knocks out.
Doom vs Reed; Despite all the tactics and shenanigans Reed can use in the library, Doom is simply stronger than him with his electricity. During their conversation, Doom is able to deduce that he left the last important component to the machine in the Baxter Building. So after he nearly electrocutes Reed to death, he hops into his own airship to head back to NYC.
Johnny will get blasted into the mountainside. From there he notices Doom’s ship and flies past BB to chase him. BB is hesitant but then gives chase as well. BP will notice Doom flying away and feel betrayed. Ben will then tell him the truth about Doom’s history and what he is most likely going to do with the portal laser, “Rip this world apart”. BP wonders about this on his own, “I must consult with my ancestors”, but by the time Sue and Reed catches up with the Fantasti-Car, he is convinced to switch sides.
Scene 9: They all fly back to NYC (except Namor). Doom reassembles the machine with the ole component and notices those chasing him so he activates the machine*. Johnny and BB arrives but Doom absorbs energy from the preparing laser and blasts them with it. The other four arrive with BP immune to Doom’s electricity and so he defeats Doom while the F4 switch off the machine. Doom is thus arrested and they all agree that he would be imprisoned on the Moon. BP and BB apologize for judging the Fantastics and decide to be allies with them…as long as they all use their advanced technology to help mankind.
*In the AF cut, Peter could’ve been visiting the building to get his check. He gets blasted by Doom and then returns as Spider-Man to fight him for a bit but still BP comes in to finish off the Latverian. Spider-Man would then also become an ally to the F4 officially.
Denouement: Ben Grimm goes to the Masters house to apologize to Philip and beg for Alicia’s hand in marriage while Johnny and Crystal unite and kiss over the Midtown skyline. Reed spends the day taking care of his wife much to the excitement of Agatha. In Wakanda, T’Challa indeed convinces the council to open borders. Namor, disguised in a coat, hides as he walks the streets of Europe.
Post Credit; in the Attilan prison, Doom seems to meet the Maximus Boltagon.
