The second day of school….
Emilia stood over Lynda’s body. Lynda was heavily snoring. Emilia thought of her as a Snorlax. She poked the sleeping bear who screamed tiredly. “I’m sorry to keep waking you up like this but you did ask.” Lynda groaned. “You wanted to go to your study group thing?”
Lynda erected from her bed. “Yes!” Her covers fell off revealing a somewhat professional outfit. Grey slacks, beige blouse opened at the chest, and black heels. Lynda carefully stepped out of bed and went to her desk. She quickly applied makeup.
“Well you’re welcome,” Emilia said walking over to her desk across the room.
“I cannot thank you enough E. Do you understand how important a study group may be?”
“Uh, nope. I don’t study, tests are pretty easy to take.”
“No it’s not for learning, ew. It’s for socialization. My older sister said it’s lowkey harder to meet someone here compared to high school, cause no one is forced to be here. You don’t have to settle. But a study group is fun cause you can be exclusive and still meet with randos. You should do that.”
Emilia shook her head but Lynda wasn’t looking. Then Emilia said, “this is your sister’s advice. Didn’t you tell me she’s a whore?”
“And I a s p i r e to be like that. Sucks I’m still a virgin.”
“Maybe. Maybe it’s great to be one.”
“Nope. In fact, I was just dreaming of cock down my throat.” Emilia held back puke. Lynda stood hand on her hips. She looked at her legs. “I should buy fishnets. Put that in my Amazon cart.” Then she turned to leave, “Don’t wait up!”
On her computer, Emilia tweeted, “The American education system is mostly made null by the sickos who use it for hookups.”
Jerry made his way to the bus stop on campus. There is one bus in the city’s transport system that passes through here. Once per hour. Yesterday, the car that the boys share was getting maintenance and was now ready for pick. That’s where Jerry was going now. He took a seat on the bench by the bus stop but the seat was a bit sticky so he stood up. Sun exposure will do that to ya. A group of three girls passed by. He resisted since they looked like seniors to him. He resisted talking to them to be clear. He kept scanning their body. The way their tight clothes choke on their curves, and the way their asses bounced left and right after they passed him.
“Yup, they’re insane.”
Jerry thought that was an inside voice. But he suddenly realized there was a man standing behind the bench. He was holding a basketball. He bounced it a few times before nodding at Jerry. This man, Walter, was dressed in a jersey and shorts. He was on his way to play basketball with his friends in town. I guess they didn’t want to come to Texcoco.
“Who insane?”
“Those ladies. Well, actually, the one on the left might be the least insane.”
“Oh. Sure bro. I ain’t really look at them for that. We all insane a little.”
Walter tossed him the ball. Jerry raised an eyebrow. “Tell me, what kind of woman do you like?” Fuck me bro, Jerry thought.
So this morning, Ethan was gaming with his new actual roommate, Bartolomeo. Barto for short. Barto was a swarthy ass person. He had a big puffy black beard and afro. He wore a Skillet t shirt. He had a pile of chips carefully situated on his lap. When he gamed, he sat like a statue to not disturb these chips. These chips do not exist in a bag or bowl. Just plainly on his lap. A swarthy ass person, Ethan thought.
“HOO HOO another DK fair to your death. I’m gonna start three stocking you with this shit if you don’t switch from Marth.”
“Barto, I’m the one that’s adapting. Once I release my combo, you’re gonna be begging for items.”
So they were playing Smash Brothers. Xiley was still hiding in Ethan’s closet. Or healing I should say. Barto has met and respects Xiley which Ethan finds strange. There was a knock at Ethan’s front door. He sighed as he stood up.
“Barto, don’t move your character a frame.”
“Frames are always moving idiot, it’s a video.”
“I’ll kill you,” Ethan said. He opened the door. “I’ll kill you too.”
Standing there was Bree, one of three girls infatuated with Ethan. She stands at 5’8″, slightly chubby and curvaceous build, and brown hair which only fell to her shoulder. She wore a sea green crop top and black tights. She held her arm up against the door frame and leaned into Ethan’s face. “You’d kill whittle ole me?”
“Without hesitation.”
“Wanna study?” She lowered the strap of her top.
“Too late, I’m gaming.”
Then Ethan ducked as a brick flew over him. It hit Bree in the face and she fell immediately to the ground, unconscious.
Ethan and Barto looked across the room to the closet Xiley was sitting in. They had fired a catapult which sent the brick to Bree. “Ethan, don’t be so nonchalant opening the door. The agents after me could be behind it.”
“That requires me to believe your story,” Ethan said shutting the door. Then he went over to close the window which was only open ajar. A girl suddenly threw herself at the window. She hit the ground.
Barto swallowed a can of Monster Dew in one sip. Then he crushed the can between his teeth and spit it out at the pile of dirty clothes. “Bro come back already. We get it, you get pussy.”
“Verify it wasn’t an agent in disguise,” Xiley demanded.
“Shut up, I hear something,” Ethan said, looking at the ceiling.
The vent in the top corner of the room dropped open. A blonde headed girl popped out. “You’re not talking to the others, are you?”
“I am not talking to anyone.”
“I’ll kill you if you do,” she said.
“Kill the others and then yourself.”
“Jeez Louise, Ethan,” Barto said.
The girl scowled at him but then blew a kiss. A rock crashed through the window which Ethan caught. A brunette girl waved and said, “sorry, I was just kind of in the neighborhood and thought it rude to not say hi. But only out of manner’s sake, this is not because I like you.”
This girl is named Claire. She has wavy brown hair, stands at 5’10”, pale skin, and pronounced tits. She wore a hoodie and skirt.
“You need to leave me-“
Suddenly, the blonde girl leaped out of the vent. She flew through the air heading for the window. Ethan grabbed her and body slammed her back onto the couch. They bounced into the air and hit the floor with a thud.
This girl, Izzy, stood at 5’4″ and had a thin build. There was a tattoo of a rose on her torso with the bud sitting upon her chest. She had other smaller tattoos across her body including a nose ring. She was wearing booty shorts and a lace shirt. She took a knife out of her bag, “en garde mi amor”.
Ethan grabbed the knife and pulled it to his neck, “I’ll kill myself!”
Another catapult flew past Ethan and knocked out Izzy. Claire noticed Xiley and wore a confused face. Ethan rose with the knife in hand.
“Well. Okay. Maybe I’ll see you in class,” Claire said. Then she dashed away.
“We weren’t able to verify…” Xiley muttered.
A few minutes later, Bree and Izzy were lying unconscious outside of his dorm building. Ethan finally sat back on his seat with a heavy sigh.
“Barto…what do you think?” asked Xiley.
Ethan raised an eyebrow. “I think it’s quite suspicious,” Barto said.
“What’s suspicious? You’re obviously talking about me,” Ethan said.
“No…it’s not suspicious,” Xiley corrected, “it’s hypocritical that you fought off those girls but do not believe my story about getting chased by state agents.”
“Oh my God.”
Barto argued, “but it IS suspicious. Every year, there’s millions of single college men throughout the world. This must be due to an unequal distribution of attraction where women, bi and straight, will find one man attractive as a group.”
“I just want to play the game,” Ethan said.
“You are one of those vagina barons, hogging all the pussy.”
“If you want one, please take it. I would never be able to repay you except with the second one and the third one.”
“No no no. They have to be attracted so you need to get rid of their attraction for you first. Then they can attach to another guy and maybe you’ll find a girl you actually like.”
“Okay so you just saw me battle them and I know they are coming back since I’ve fought them back all week like that. So what else could I do to get rid of their attraction?”
Barto announced in great excitement, “Shid in their bed!”
“Fuck you.”
Xiley then interrupted, “wait, I have…an idea…”
Ethan and Barto stared at them for let’s say three minutes. “Are you gonna say something?”
“No, we’ll do it off screen.”
So later, Ethan was walking to his afternoon class. Bartolomeo was following slightly behind. Barto carried Xiley on his back but they were covered by the duster so they did not look suspicious. They still did. Ethan did not even look back as he asked Xiley, “you didn’t ever really tell me what your plan was.”
“We have three plans. You are just to improvise as we deal them out.”
“This is the most trusting I have ever been in my life.”
Barto then asked, “remind me which girl I’m meeting with right now.”
Ethan nodded ahead, “at that intersection, that’s Claire. We don’t have any classes but both of us cross this street to head into the building there. That’s when she fucking ruins my day.” There was a group of students. Claire was standing there acting like she didn’t notice Ethan nearing. Everyone was waiting for the cars to pass.
Xiley and Barto replied, “simply walk a different route.”
“No this is the fastest and easiest to remember. Shut up and do your plan.”
Ethan stopped away from most of the group. Xiley told Barto to stand behind Claire but not too close. There was Robby a 5’2″ black kid who was shaped pretty round. He wore a Jaguar shirt and basketball shorts. Robby noticed those two and asked, “the hell is he on your back for?”
Boldly, Barto answered, “Nigga can’t walk.”
Robby continued looking at Barto who eventually burped. Then Xiley asked “Sir would you like to help us in a quest?”
“What the hell is going on?”
“Do you see that tsundere over there?” Robby kept a shocked gaze. Xiley shouted, “CLAIRE!” She turned around and looked back at the three who didn’t say a word. Weirded out, she simply turned forward again. The crowd started to cross the street. “That’s the tsundere”.
“Great, cool,” Robby replied.
“What’s a tsundere?” Barto asked.
“A beta tier trope of a woman that acts like they do not like their crush. They play hard to get until some final confrontation.”
“That’s annoying,” Barto said.
“So why are we even talking about her?” Robby asked.
Claire slowly made her way to Ethan and ‘bumped’ into him. “Wow I guess we’re walking together again.”
Emilia clicked ‘OK’ and then another pop up showed.
“Wow, it’s almost like it should be predicted on the 6th time,” Ethan said with great sarcasm. This is the second day of school?
“I wouldn’t say so. It’s not like anyone, including me, would want to be seen near you anyways.”
“Well, it was a good afternoon until you had to be negative.” Ethan accelerated. “Oh, see you later I guess,” Claire said with her voice fading away.
Xiley asked, “Do you see the pain they cause themselves and others? Despite her genuinely having feelings for that poor man?”
“That doesn’t answer my question,” Robby said.
“So I’m planning to break that infatuation. Sir, can you talk to a woman?” Robby slowly nodded. “Be a wingman! Have her meet up with my here roommate Bartolomeo.”
“I don’t want to date her,” Barto said.
“No and this is why you have to be specific Robby. Just say Barto is interested in a lunch after this class. Barto all you have to do is lie.”
“Oh I like lying, I’ll do that.”
“I don’t need to be anymore involved than that? BET! I gotchu bros.”
Xiley then told Barto to stand somewhere cool looking. The boy jumped high in the air and then crashed through a tree. He placed Xiley on the ground behind it. He then leaned on the tree with one foot and crossed his arms. He wore shades to look even cooler.
On the ground, Xiley saw the three FBI agents walking across the street away from him. He still pulled up his collar so they would not notice him.
Robby stopped Claire at the side walk. “Ay chico, what’s up?”
Claire looked around. She answered, “neither of us are even Hispanic.”
“Lmao so you not that bad but my boy was FEENING over you.”
“Wait what? Who?”
“My boy Bartolomeo. I ain’t even know him that well but all he talks about is this chick he sees every afternoon to his math class.”
“Oh wow did he see some of my stuff?”
Robby’s brain screeched on breaks. “What stuff?”
“I have an Onlyfans. Did he see it somehow?”
Big bro was right, even the freshmen girls will get an Onlyfans right out the gate. “He never mentioned that but this man might want to be your Onlyplans.”
“Oh uh wow.”
“Now this is him riiiii–” Robby looked around until he found the tree Barto was at. Xiley’s entire plan is betting on the fact she might not remember the glimpse of Barto that she’s seen and that he looks clean enough right now to be considered attractive. “–ght there! He look damn good, don’t he?”
Claire looked over and squinted her eyes. Xiley told Barto, “a tsundere is a nervous reaction of an unconfident woman. You actually don’t even need to be attractive. It is instead the potential to treat you coldly that fuels her.”
Claire took one step but then Robby stepped in front of her again. “Whoa hold on, he got a class now, he can’t talk for long. But you free for dinner, right?”
“Yeah I’m not shooting anything today.”
“Damn. I mean” focus, “so yeah he just wanted to get something with you. At the Tijuana’s if that’s cool with you.”
“Sure why not. Uh thanks.”
“Yeah you good, now move a long,” he said shooing her away. Then Robby dashed over to Xiley and Barto. “Bro! First, your dinner is going to be at the Tijuana’s. Then I need you to grab her Onlyfans link.”
“Whoa she has an only fans?” Barto asked. “Did you know that?”
“Yes. It’s listed on her Instagram and Twitter profiles,” Xiley answered.
“Oh damn. So you just gonna text it to me?”
“Just give me your phone. This will be my thanks. You’re a real nigga.”
Robby paused again. “Naaaaah, what the fuck?”
So after hearing the origin of Xiley’s use of nigga, Robby Christened him with the proper pronouns of they/them.
Back at the bus stop, “My type of women? Bro, what do you think?” Jerry asked Walter.
“I don’t know, you are the one to answer that.”
“Sucks. I don’t really have a type. I’ll talk to any women who will listen.”
“No, you must have requirements.” Walter opened his hands. “Every organism does.” Jerry tossed the ball back to Walter.
“Alright, what’s yours?”
“Shorter than me but not short enough to be confused with being my child. A little thick if she’s non-athletic but thinner if she is. Not a ditz, I want a smartass who can always correct me. But with a sweetheart and emotional intelligence. And I want to be able to people watch with her so she can’t be too self-obsessed.”
“Dayum I was expecting like big tits and big ass. But see, I’ll be lucky if God gave me what I asked for. Your specificity kills me bro.”
“Do you like big tits and big ass?”
“Alright so not too big, you know. I hate obesity for one thing. But also, I’ll watch an anime where some bitches have watermelon sized breasts. It’s like…bro…I cannot get ANYTHING from that.”
“And the ass?” He said spinning his basketball on his middle finger.
“Hmmm. Actually, with both things, nothing too big suffices but the important part of this is the shape of it. Like the ass, it has to be a tight mass, not just fat hanging off your tailbone. Also proportions are everything. A smaller girl can have B cups that look big on her while a bigger girl will necessarily need bigger tits.”
“….FYI, ass is not connected to the tailbone.”
“Whatever. You good with my answer? Was this a survey or some kind of TikTok?” Now Jerry started to look around.
Walter shook his head. “It’s always important to be clear on what you want. In every facet of life. That will make self-actualization easier. The Stairway to Heaven will be shorter.” The bus arrived.
Lynda was skipping to the central building. While the main entrance took you into the library, there were several sound proof rooms closed off by glass. She put a sign on the door outside that said “Lynda’s Study Hall”. She only invited dateable people from her calculus class. In this room was a long table in the middle. There was also a corner with a crescent shaped couch and an ottoman. She sat in this area but also pulled other chairs in case there were extras. To look fuckable, she bought pink fishnet stockings.
Sitting there giddily for 12 minutes, eventually Lynda was greeted by her study group. 14 kids in all but let’s not get caught up in them now. The first of Lynda’s interest was this blonde boy with curly hair. He had a slight build but he only just started working out. He wore a purple jean jacket and black shorts.
Her eyes glowed when he entered the room earlier. She didn’t even notice his two friends. He asked, “Hey, they aren’t in our class, but you cool if my bros are here?”
In a trance, she answered, “sure Danny, it doesn’t matter what we’re studying.”
“Bruh, lowkey I just need my homework done yesterday,” his bigger friend said getting a laugh from others.
A girl asked which class the homework was for and she decided to help him due to his answer. Lynda waved the seat next to her on the couch so Danny sat there. He threw a couple jokes about their horrible work ethic and Lynda thought that was the funniest shit on the planet. Danny’s first friend Devin sat on the ground and the other friend Dustin sat to the right of him. The triple D.
A trio of girls came too. To the left was 5’10” Marcia, a curvy skimpy blonde who wore a cake of makeup on her face. Despite that, she looked pissed off. Next to her was 5’9″ black haired Melissa. She had a freckled face, wore a choker, no makeup, and a tight black dress for her petite form. She was talking cheerfully to Elizabeth. Elizabeth was 5’6″, chubby, and had her brown hair in a bun at the top of her head. She wore thick rimmed glasses and still had braces in her teeth. Elizabeth was just as cheery as the two talked about several Broadway shows. Marcia is just as interested in Broadway so why the long face?
The three of them took chairs from the long table. The last person to join the study group was a pale thin girl who wore a brown dress. She wore a crucifix on a necklace and carried her stuff in a tote bag rather than a backpack. She sat down quietly and didn’t talk until Lynda asked, “hey Anna, do you know the answer for this question?”
“Uh yeah, well it’s the same function as the one before…”
“No but yeah I just need the answer. I understand the process enough.”
“Not me. I’m getting stuck,” said Danny.
“I’ll teach ya,” Lynda said with a wink. Then she turned back to Anna, “just show me the answer anyways. ” Marcia looked up from her paper because she had understood Lynda’s plan here. To recruit sexually deviant and degenerate people who would fairly cheat on the homework as much as fuck each other. What’s this pretty virgin here for?
Then Anna magically answered the thought, “I asked about your study group because I thought I could help anyone who didn’t understand the subject but it better not just be a nest of cheaters.”
“Whoaaa, who’s cheating?” Asked Danny’s big friend Dustin. “Devin, you cheating?”
Devin is Danny’s shorter friend and he gave a silent shake of his head. Then he said, “Dusty, let me borrow your paper for I am confused on some shit.”
“Of course, cherished brother.”
“Uh huh,” Anna replied in a completely dead tone. Dustin and Devin broke into laughter.
Lynda pressured still, “Ugh pleeeese Anna?? You said you were smart, that’s why I invited you. Just this once.”
Marcia ripped out some paper and rolled it into a ball. Then she placed it in her mouth to seemingly lube it up. Anna shook her head at Lynda and just started to pack her things.
No one wanted to say anything rude. High school was a long summer ago. They would have had a different attitude then but 4 years of that attitude taught them well. So they just watched, perhaps awkwardly, her calmly pack her books into her bag. She hung the bag on her back. But before she rose, Marcia fired her spit paper directly on the center of Anna’s head.
Elizabeth turned to Marcia with a face full of shock and red embarrassment while Melissa was just shocked. Danny, Dustin, and Devin held in their breaths. Anna closed her eyes as a natural reaction and then slowly, dramatically, opened them directly at Marcia.
“There’s a white board in this room. Just teach us the function using this problem as an example,” Marcia suggested.
“But-,” Lynda started.
“You’ll have other chances,” Marcia said aloud, to fuck him after a calculus problem, she thought quietly. Danny and Anna raised eyebrows. Then Anna wiped the paper off her forehead and stood up. She sets her bookbag on the long table and headed to the whiteboard.
“I hope you all can focus,” she said as she silently performed the problem. The Triple D watched closely while Lynda just waited for the final answer rolling her eyes.
Elizabeth whispered to her friend, “Marcia, what the fuck were you doing!?”
“I was just making a friend, instead of being awkward like the rest of you.”
Melissa asked, “wasn’t that a weird route though? Basically challenging her to tolerate us. She looks like a priest’s favorite child.”
Marcia eyed her and then Elizabeth. She muttered almost sadly, “why’d you call me Marcia?”
Elizabeth was able to hear it and hesitated to answer. Then she answered back, “you’re just being weird. Sorry.” Then she said to Melissa, “nevermind, let’s go back to this question,” which she pointed at on her paper. Marcia scoffed and rolled her eyes. The boys were now hovering behind Anna as she finished the question and Lynda was talking to another classmate. In fact, everyone was helping each other with some question. But Marcia sat there quietly, I am more lonely than when I first walked in.
Jerry walked to the back of the overfilled bus and sat by the window. Walter sat right next to him. Jerry paid no mind. Then Walter said, “which was the best?”
“Huh?”
“In this bus, you must have scanned as you came down. Unless you decided to tunnel vision out of embarrassment.”
“I did not.”
“So which girl looked best to you?”
“Hah.” Jerry hovered his head over his seat to look at the rows of students once more. “Well I guess I didn’t really finish from before. I have a thing for redheads, freckles, and glasses. So that little girl up towards the front. She’s not the best but she’s on the list.”
“….FYI, glasses are not your thing. The lens not only enlarge the pupils which inherently increase attractiveness but also the shaping of the frames can also add another detail to make a face more distinctive. Facial hair does the same thing.”
“So that’s just like a bonus point. Even without that, she’s a 9 out of 10.”
“Who else is on the list?”
Jerry pointed out four other girls. One was a black girl two rows ahead of them, another was a big titted teacher in the back corner, one was a tall blonde volleyball player and last was the gothic bus driver. Walter concluded, “you are open minded at the least. Have you had a girlfriend?”
“Well I was pretty fucking close last year.”
“And this year. Any leads?”
“On the second day? Damn not really bro. You gon help?”
We’ll skip ahead of their time, to dinner time. There was a Tijuana Flats at the end of a cul-de-sac on campus. The cul-de-sac included a few other restaurants or stores.
Xiley was sitting in a dark corner of the room wearing shades and a hat. He had a mouth piece connected to the earpiece in Bartholomew’s head. Barto did not change clothes, shower, or even put on deodorant. Neither cared. Claire entered the restaurant and smiled upon sighting Barto. He stiffened as he gestured to her seat. They sat in the middle of the room.
Xiley spoke to Barto, “remember to just give her attention. Common interests, compatible chemistry, or natural attractiveness don’t matter. Forget every rule of dating. Just breathe and react.”
Barto nodded. He blinked and 30 minutes of the date had gone by. He was surprised she was smiling widely and seemed very invested in telling her story that he already forgot about. “Damn that’s crazy,” he responded after the climax.
“Hehehe, you know you’re really cute Barto. I wouldn’t mind seeing you again or maybe working on a project together.”
“Oh wow,” Barto stated now actually awake. “I mean you’re pretty awesome, taking the hottest sauces like it was nothing.”
“Oh I can take a lot more pain than that,” she said biting her lips.
Barto glanced over at Xiley who shrugged their shoulders. Then Barto said to Claire but actually to Xiley, “but I may not always have time. I mean I don’t know if I should keep dating you.” Claire grew a worried face.
Xiley got the message. He whispered to him, “you might assume she surpassed my expectations and that she did. Our ultimate goal is for her to forget all about Ethan.”
Then Barto chimed in, “hey, you don’t like anyone else, right?”
She brightened with her answer, “not anyone you should be worried about. Other guys don’t even pay attention to me whether or not I like them.”
Xiley excitedly told Barto, “that was a good question to ask. But in all honesty, it does not free you. Stopping here, she might immediately relapse. A few more dates if you can bear it Barto.”
Barto shrugged at Xiley and then said to Claire, “on second thought, I don’t have anything occupying me from you. Now, what did you mean by projects?”
Claire got up and smiled really widely for the first time. “That’s a secret for next time, babe.” She leaned forward and kissed him. He smiled back at her. “Well I have to go finish some homework. Talk to you later,” she walked away swaying her hips seductively. Barto picked up Xiley with his back and they headed out of the store casually. “The Crest of Courage collected. Two more to go.”
Back on the bus, Walter answered Jerry’s question, “I won’t be your wingman but if you ever need advice or judgement, I will be here.”
“Like…with me in spirit?”
“With you, anywhere.”
“…Hey this is a weird question but what’s your goal in life? Why’d you go here?”
“I’m here for a degree of course. But my goal is to find my true love. The way I see life, it’s a Race of Romance. The love type of Romance.”
As the students left the study group, Lynda found her hand in the hand of Danny who seemed to not mind.
Walter continues, “There are no such things as soulmates. There are 7 billion people who all live too far apart. But there are those who are close enough.”
Elizabeth waved goodbye to the others as Melissa dragged her away to her own dorm. Anna wore an embarrassed smile as Dustin and Devin bowed to her.
“These people will be the goal of many others, even just temporarily. You must find them first.”
Claire took her bag of Ethan’s hair and dropped it into a trash bag. Then she took out a few strands of Barto’s hair and smelled it while rubbing on her clitoris.
“And maybe you think it’s the wrong one for a while and break apart. But if you come back together, if this person keeps appearing, if you keep forgiving them then you have someone who you share a Gravity with.”
The government agents met with the proud Dean of Texcoco. They showed him a picture of their target and he nodded in agreement.
“This person may be your God given destiny but you have the free will to choose others. So one must be careful on this race, to not end up disappointed.”
David, Emilia’s ex, finished his load in one of his girls. The other girl turned on her back and he started to pound her.
Jerry replied, “don’t talk like we have one chance or something to hit jacketpot. If there’s 100 good enough girls, whatchu gonna do?”
Walter thought for just a moment, “meet one.”
Emilia’s room was completely dark. The only light was her screen. It was well past midnight. Her eyes wavered between awake and asleep as she waited for her downloads to finish.
Jerry scoffed, “nah nigga, get stupid. Meet em all.”
Emilia’s computer dinged. Her eyes shot awake. Her hands shook as they made their way to the keyboard.
“So what? You’re gonna ask 100 girls out this year?”
“Goddamn right!”
It read ‘this download needs a software refresh. It will take 4 hours. Would you like to begin now?’ Emilia slammed her face in the keyboard, “I AM KILLING MYSELF!”
